What kind of dog indoors should I expect?

Hey this is Adam again and I was wondering what kind of dog inside i should get. I want a big dog inside that would be good to be a watchdog and keep my family, especially my children on their way. I do not want the dog to be too active and hyper all the time. I want a dog with a big heart and I would not go and play hard or long term. So do not bother me but the dog hair shedding bald not massive. Oh and I want to dress the dog for the weather because the dog travel with me and everything.

I like this question. I love people who take their dogs with them. You can choose any race, a big dog with a big heart always makes me think of a Rottweiler if they are mischievous but can be trained when to be quiet, and they are good with children when they are socialized with them. All dogs are hyper as puppies if you might consider rescuing an adult or smaller, they .... can be easily trained to bark at the door so they appear very fierce.
