Training Your Dog To Fetch

seeking advice on training my dog to fetch me a beer. im struggling with it, bringing it to me fromfloor?
I want to reward when he brings me, but how can you give to make? he takes my hand, reward, and then I throw it and he runs over and sniffs. i dont think he understands that he is supposed to return. Any help would be great.
How about you stop being lazy and get beer yourself.
