Toy Dog Collars

Toy Dog Collars

Small dogs or dogs or lap quilts as we have called a vast history, encompassing thousands of years. Small breeds are often held by the nobility and given as gifts to royal figures. We also thought that small breeds have been good for the health ones. The Pekingees, Pug and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are three examples.

Many dog owners have a preference for small dogs, larger breeds, and for many different reasons. However, due to their small size, these dogs are much more affordable to maintain, need less exercise in respect of large breeds in general, and are easy to transport for example.

Many owners of larger dogs, and often think of those who care for a dog breeds avoid further smaller, because of perceived differences in behavior, compared to large dogs. It is believed, wrongly of course, that smaller dogs are, by nature, yappy, aggressive, possessive, protective and more demanding, and so on.

If this assumption is not true, why so many owners of small dogs have problems with their dogs behave aggressively towards other dogs and people and displaying possessive and demanding attitudes, etc.?

To get an understanding of the problem, we must begin at the beginning. All puppies are cute and adorable time, even the biggest race was small and cuddly one. However, small breeds tend to retain their puppy looks and size, long after Cute Rottweiler puppy has grown and gained 50 kg in weight, eg

The researchers found that humans have developed a biological response to 'cute' things, especially baby animals. We think the need to maintain and protect helpless creatures seen is automatic.

This is where problems often begin, protects the owner of the dog may realize about him, let him sleep on the bed or jump on the furniture when he wants, and takes her in his arms in the presence of strange dogs, and yields to his demands for attention. This is often through the mistaken notion that the dog needs protection, according to its size and 'baby like "qualities.

So how is it everything worked perfectly in mind the dogs? Although our domestic dogs are very different in many respects to its ancestor, the wolf, he has inherited much of his ancestors instinctual behavior. Part of this blue print instinctual, just the desire to be part of a group or pack. Although most dogs are happier to be a disciple of their kit man, if their leader is not obvious, or the dog gets signals his master that he is the head of the pack, the dog will have no option but to fill the role, because this is how life is played out in the world of dog.

Over time, the dog may show that the behavior experienced eye would be considered dominant, however, the owner of dogs these behaviors are perceived to be race specific, for example, "that's how the Chihuahuas are", or an integral part of the personality of dogs, such as "it has always been this way." Such behavior could be a cause concern when seen in a large dog, but somehow overlooked or not considered serious in many smaller breeds.

There a number of behaviors that are common to small dogs acting majority, so that this type of behavior seen in smaller breeds, inherited the syndrome small dog label "or" little dog syndrome '. Some common behaviors that characterize the small dog syndrome 'are listed below.

  • Your dog has developed the habit of sitting on you or jumping on you or beside you, when he pleases.
  • Your dog will not let you near him when he eats or has a toy he plays with the
  • Your barking excessively to attract your attention.
  • Your dog is more protective when other dogs or humans come near you.
  • Your dog growls when you try to move it from its resting place preferred.
  • Your dog is usually stubborn and refuses to follow orders given him.
  • Your dog has an exaggerated reaction to being left alone, characterized by the constant barking, or destructive behavior.

Much can be done to turn around this problem, however, owners must first consider their role in encouraging this type of behavior from their dog. Owners must realize that their small breed dogs are actually animals and not humans soon.

Second, owners must understand that it is natural for dogs to be part of a 'package' and, above all, a package in which they would much prefer to be a follower of a leader. Understanding these two concepts alone will greatlyreduce the problem.

In terms of recycling, owners should contact their dogs that they are the leading provider and protector team. This can be done by controlling all the resources on dogs, for example, food, toys, treats, walks, and Places of rest, and allowing access to their dog when the owner decides.

All require a behavior, eg barking for treats or to be collected and so must be ignored, and all praise appropriate behaviors.

Aggressive behavior and possessive to other humans, dogs can be treated by having a place for the dog to go when the owner is interacting with others. This may be in his crate, or a cushion in a corner of the room for example.

Owners must be aware that recycling takes time, especially if dogs were allowed to view this type of behavior for a long period. But with patience and repetition, the dog will be happy become a follower rather than leader of his pack of man.
