Service dogs "in training" - help?

Re-ask ... Firstly, I want everyone to know that this is a last resort and would not do otherwise and would not do so again in the future. I'm going to Vegas in January for a softball tournament (weekend). Our dog is coming with us to softball fields. The only problem we have is a finding of a hotel that allows dogs. Would be a hotel to ask for any document or other thing? Again, it is a last resort and we do not safe staying in a Motel 6 (which does not allow dogs).
