Senior dog / and diet kidney?
my vet told me that my dog's kidneys began to fail Due to old age and if he put food on the kidney. as some of you may know this food is quite expensive since it was prescribed. I talked to many people in the group I took him to the VET and we all reached the same conclusion, this vet is overcharging and its all bout the money rather than the health of our dogs (I have already started looking for a new veterinary confidence) but for now im not sure what I would do it again: the power of the kidney. How well has it worked for your dog? Should I have him on a diet senior management? im not sure so im going to take him to a vet again and have new blood work done but for now I wanted to know your opinion and how this food has worked for your dog if HES eat and if not just want you to think of my dilemma.
No matter who you talk to them you say that veterinarians charge too. We know all veterinary fees are expensive, like food order. If your dog has kidney otherwise I would not risk changing food. If he needs a kidney diet then that is what it should have. If you go take your dog to another veterinarian you do not need to repeat the blood work if its been done recently. Your veterinarian Actual results may forward to the new vet. Chances are that if your dog is in renal failure and the new vet will say exactly the same as your existing Veterinary. The only difference is that you must pay again for the same diagnosis.
