German Shepherd / Chow Chow mix?
We adopted a German shepherd / Chow mix and he is really smart. Wants to please, as a shepherd, but able to think on his own as a Chow. It shows the potential to be a dog sniff. I play with him with a favorite toy his rope, and I want to hide. It then looks like it is to sniff it. How can I train them and help develop this ability? Oh, and what I can put in his food that would help with urine stains so you do not burn the grass in the yard? My cousin spaghetti sauce over the use of his German shepherd / lab mix. Is there an alternative?

How can we prevent this? Is there something he can eat or drink to help? It ruined our yard! (Kristen Soares, Texas) Dog urine causes spots and dead lawn burn due to high levels of nitrogen that is released into the lawn through the urine. Each dog owner who has a yard will be familiar with it. Nitrogen is actually a lawn growth stimulant that encourages lawn growth when is properly applied as fertilizer. The problem with dog urine is that since most dogs urinate in a place, then put in place large amounts of liquid nitrogen (urine) at this location causing a combustion reaction and even death in the lawn. Often, the show made up vigorous grass growth around the place because the nitrogen levels that stimulate growth on the edges. Since larger dogs usually produce larger amounts of urine, there is a direct correlation between the size of your dog and developmental changes lawn burn and dead spots in your lawn through the urine. The best way to help prevent urine burns and dead spots is to saturate the stain with water. This will allow excess nitrogen to leach or dilute through the lawn and reducing the concentration in one area. It is generally preferable to treat areas up to 9 hours after urination and to apply at least three times the amount of water to urine in the region. Dead zones can also be planted. Most lawn grasses will eventually repair itself to cover the dead zones. Among the many cures known for the dead-dog urine are also applied to sugar in the affected areas, thought that the balance in some so the Overkill nitrogen. If you have old unfinished bottles of soda that can be widely applied in these areas, or apply a handful of corn syrup. This particular remedy is often reported to work! I copied this info from another website Hope it helps! Oh and keep working with your dog until he became familiar with what you do. Then submit it to other things, he can go and find.Be sure reward for being good.
