How do I prevent my St. Bernard to be aggressive while eating?

6 months I have a Saint Bernard. It has recently become aggressive when eating. He grunted and yelled a few times with my husband and I and our daughters. This worries me a lot. It's a very sweet dog and then only when eating. Any idea how to stop this now before it gets worse from happening?
