Rottwiler Dog Training

Heres some info: Dog: Rottwiler / Labrador mix - which is a year old and his name is dumb. * I'm trying to train him how to play ball. How can I teach this? I have some candy in his pocket. Lanzo the ball and goes shooting after him. But it brings back and I know immediately that treatment so the drops and eats the treat. But when ever i do treatment have not give him the ball! I need help. :] Thanks
Take two balls. Throwing a ball. When it returns, pull the other. Do not throw the ball, because he is thinking ... "If I bring the ball, but keep away from mom, she will play with me!" Just do what is fun to catch the ball, not playing, keep your distance.
