What is to own a rat terrier or terrier mix really small?

My husband and I love the look of small rat terrier and terrier mixtures of Chihuahua / terrier, but are a little reluctant because of the things we've been reading about race. Are they really as hyper as described? You do well in apartments? Are destructive? How do they react to being alone? It really would help us to get some information from someone who has actually lived with one in Instead of just reading about the breed in general. Thanks in advance:)

i lived with one before training and now we are taking a go again, the other was a exs dog, this will stay with me now and forever, just got him yesterday, we are indoors it because where I live i dont have not to a private patio and messaging instant dog disease. Now maybe it's because mine is only 9 weeks old, but he did not on my side, my husband tries to bond with only yy runs right back to me, I really like the mouth but thats just a thing of the puppy was very energetic when I brought home, but has calmed down a lot, not just hed stay within a couple feet me.we had to stop for a while after reaching it, he crawled into a ball and slept for only one serving his time out.mine as if he's going to be destructive once it leaves my side, but training is the best advice you can train a dog to do almost anything you want, so good luck in his new adventure, I hope that helped
