For Dog Only

I have been to establish a list of dogs known for my website numerology pet for some time now. I know that my favorites are, but I was wondering who are the most famous general. Over there were so many famous dogs that I made five Gourp listing, with a final round of Top Dogs most famous. It is this final round, and I'll reveal what the most famous these wonderful dogs.

The twenty most famous of all dogs (based on online chat) are:

20. Goofy - the drawings animated classic from Walt Disney

19. Chloe - a Chihuahua that is a main character in the film "Beverly Hills Chihuahua"

18. Mr. Peabody -- which appeared in "History Improbable Peabody" cartoons with his boy Sherman in the 1960s

17. Benji - who was the star of a series of "Benji" Movies

16. Buddy - a labrador belonging to U.S. President Bill Clinton

15. Gromit - the "Wallace and Gromit "animated shorts

14. Tinkerbell - a Chihuahua owned by socialite Paris Hilton

13. Dogbert - from Band "Dilbert" comic

12. Snowy - The White Fox Terrier traveled with Tintin in the "Adventures of Tintin" comic books

11. Barney -- a Scottish Terrier belonging to President George W. Bush

10. Lassie - The Collie is a character seen in cinema since the 1930s

9. Santa's Little Helper - the dog of the Simpson family in the TV series "The Simpsons"

8. Bo - The Dog Portuguese Water belonging to U.S. President Barack Obama and family first

7. Snoopy - The Beagle is a character in the strip "Peanuts" comic

6. Bolt - white German Shepherd who is the title character in the animated film "Bolt"

5. Eddie - the Jack Russell Terrier the TV series "Frasier"

4. Odie - from the strip "Garfield" comic

3. Dug - the talking dog to Pixar animated film "Up"

2. Scooby Doo - the "Scooby-Doo cartoons and movies

... and the dog more is famous ...

1. Marley - the Labrador Retriever is the title character in the book and the movie "Marley and Me"

Thus, a fine blend races in the twenty two yellow labs (Marley and Buddy), two chihuahuas (Tinkerbell and Chloe), a Portuegses Water Dog (Bo), a German shepherd (Bolt) a (Beagle Snoopy), a Colie (Lassie), a Jack Russell Terrier (Eddie), a Scottish Terrier (Barney), and a white wire Fox Terrier (Snowy).

I was somewhat surprised by the order of the top twenty. I always think Snoopy is the most famous, but it was dropped to seventh place. I am sure that Bob Marley Scooby Doo and benefits of having their names in the title of their film, book or TV series.

Surprisingly, five of the top twenty dogs are dogs in real life, like dogs fiction tend to be more famous than their real counterparts. I'm sure it does not hurt that most of these Dogs have their own books, movies or extensive media coverage.

I compiled this list by searching for dog names listed on a number of search engines and their ranking by the number of web pages, discussion forums, photos, videos, etc. online that are available.
