In general, dogs are faithful. They are protective of their owners / trainers. They are fierce and strong. They are fast and strong. They are capable of respond immediately and act logically. They are very intelligent and are easily recyclable. Above all, they are hardworking, focused on the task, and engaged. They are the best friends of man. These are the reasons why dogs have been selected to be the companions of our security forces.
Today, you see a lot of security personnel and police authorities and military forces that are accompanied by dogs. Usually, they choose German shepherds, but by training and testing, other races are now used for military as well. Of Police dogs are commonly used for monitoring purposes, for a search and rescue operations, and for reasons of security attack.
Training Police Dog requires training not only for the dog, but also for the manager.
Both dog and its handler will be selected from a wide variety dogs and aspiring individuals. After selection, they will be subjected to careful training to ensure that they have all the skills required for the police.
For future handlers, they are usually given a training course which will last two years.
