List of "High Risk Breeds Dog" by the insurance company has some interesting races on it ...?
I'm looking for apartment. I found a really nice complex that my boyfriend and I really like it. Only one problem: they use a list of breeds of dogs prohibited. I love Shiba Inus, but they are on this list. The receptionist told me they were 50 dogs, 60 pounds; This is simply not true. Shibas Small dogs are the size of a Boston Terrier. Why Shiba Inus be considered a race at high risk? Http: / / z.about.com/d/vetmedicine/1/0/b/U/shiba-inu-groom.jpg there is a picture of one. In addition to all the races regularly stereotyped list has also been other races on this I do not understand why they are here: Husky, Dalmatian, Dane, Airedale Terrier, Border Collie, etc. Any ideas / explanations on this? Note that the list does not prohibit large Dogs in particular.
I'm fairly certain that "Husky" appears on the list because anything with pointed ears and a curly tail (GSD mix, mix Akita, dog-wolf, etc.) is labeled as a "Husky" animal control ... in the case of wolves in particular, asshats who buy them are responsible to call them "Husky mix" by farmers, especially if regulations and restrictions have one in their city / county. Why the dog and the Border Collie to appear, I have no idea. FWIW, I met many villains Airedale.
The perfect dog for you. List of dog breeds
