Interested in Shikoku dog ... Does anybody know the information on this breed, nor where to find one?

I am very interested the Shikoku and wanted to know more ... Girlfriend and we were trying to get a dog and fell in love with the Shiba Inu and found that negative features that this race has the Shikoku doesn't have ... haveing a very difficult time finding a breeder as well ...

I did a little searching and it seems that there very few of them, including Japan. There seems to be two kennels in North America, and I think it would be extremely selective in making any puppies. Shikoku inu Google and you will find the kennel. You can always contact them, but I would not put my heart to get one if I were you. But who knows ever. They are like dogs really NEAT - I have a penchant for this type of dog.
