Dogs require a financial commitment. The total annual cost of owning a dog surprises many people, so be prepared and budget accordingly. How much cost to have a dog? Good quality dog food is not cheap. The municipalities that require a dog license. Then there is the cost of dog toys, dog beds, leashes, necklaces, candy, grooming, all adds up.
Health care for your dog can be expensive. At a minimum, your pet will have annual health screenings and vaccines. But emergency injuries or illness, it will happen. Dogs sometimes need expensive surgery. They eat things that are harmful to them, including the plants in your garden. As dogs age, like medical expenses instead.
One option to consider is health insurance. Several organizations offer this, including the American Kennel Club with his AKC Pet Healthcare Plan. By paying monthly or quarterly can spread the cost of routine medical care in the year, and you will be protected from being hit with a huge medical bill if your dog requires surgery or other treatment. Even dogs need dental care, including cleaning of the teeth and sometimes canals.

Without some form of fenced area of your property, you may quickly tire of having to remove it with a belt several times a day, especially in bad weather.
Traveling with often? Then it is necessary to factor in the cost of taking your dog in a kennel while you are away-and many of these are $ 50 per day or more to the care or hiring a dog sitter to go home and look after your dog.
This does not really matter what it costs to keep a dog because you can never buy love and the company will receive from your fellow cub.
