German Dog Breeds

So you want to put your dog through training guard dog? What kind of dog do you have? Some breeds are better suited to be a watchdog than others. A Chihuahua, for example, would not be the best candidate is too small and too weak to be really intimidating. But a Great Dane, on the other hand, would not be a great candidate either, despite their large size, they are gentle giants and head strong. Here are the breeds of dog best suited to training Watchdog:
Rottweiler
Rottweilers are intelligent dog breed and Hardy. They are strong working dogs. Markings in black and beige Rottweilers have a powerful appearance and play several roles in the company of working dog. Originally bred as herd dogs, their intelligence and hard work saw them through to take on roles other work: guide dogs for the blind, guard dogs, police dogs and search dogs and rescue. Rottweilers are very trainable, but require strict discipline to socialize properly. Irresponsible owners find their Rottweiler trying to be the alpha dog and overtly aggressive behaviors. Rottweilers men tend to be more aggressive and quicker to challenge authority. Unless sterilized male rottweilers disagree among themselves.
German Shepherd
German Shepherds are a great race dog originally bred for sheep herding. Their strength and intelligence are a note-worthy and very useful in obedience and training of guard dogs. Their protective nature also make them good guard dog candidates. If not properly socialized German Shepherds can become overly aggressive and likely to bite. Their strong will require a firm hand to train. They bond well with people they know with but they are not quick to make friends with strangers. They vary in color from tan to black with different brands in between.
Doberman Pinscher
Doberman Pinschers tend to be people first think of the race when the guard dogs come to mind. This is due to representation in popular media. And indeed, Doberman pinscher have all the desirable characteristics of guard dogs: loyalty, athleticism, intelligence, strength and boldness. Typically black with tan markings, although some may be brown dobermans, breed of dog a medium sized dog who is highly trainable. Dobermans ears are usually cultivated 7 to 9 weeks of age. This makes their ears point, although in their natural state, Doberman ears flop down like other dog breeds. This is done to prevent ear infections and diseases.
These 3 breeds all dogs are suited to go through the training of guard dogs and succeed. They possess the characteristics of guard dogs: loyalty, strength, loyalty and obedience. They are all highly trainable and, with proper technical training, all would do well in a training course watchdog.
Guard dog training schools are the best way to learn to do guard dog training.
