Hundreds if not thousands of stray dogs are found each year in the world without anyone in sight and nowhere to go. These dogs are often in great danger if it was because of negligence on behalf of owners, either because of unforeseen circumstances causing the dog to lose and I fear.

What can we do in these situations can be a difficult choice, and choice must be made quickly. Just driving past a suspected stray dog on the side of the road could lead to death minutes later dog.

What to do when you find a stray dog is different in almost all cases, but there are guidelines to follow to help save the life of a scared stray, and to the spirit of loving owner at ease.

To begin, you should always be aware that the dog in question may be very aggressive due to fear, lost, and perhaps very Hunger, the approach carefully done. If you feel that your dog is not a violent then you should always be careful not to startle or frighten the dog in any way a scared dog could easily run on a busy road or danger area.

A good way to reassure the dog, you are not there to hurt them and bring them close is to use strong-smelling food such as tuna or other favorite dog and talk softly and calmly to the dog.

When you finally get the dog under control and not afraid of aggressive behavior, reassuring the dog by stroking and talk to them, it will be easier for others to deal with them. If you have a leash or any other form of dog control with you, then try and secure the dog with them, always being careful not to frighten the dog.

When you've managed to capture the dog or if you have other problems making it difficult to grasp, then you should call with animal care or local authority control to ensure the correct procedures are followed and safety of the animal will be safe.
