Why are people so adverse to quell an aggressive dog?

Of course, certain forms of aggression are manageable. Personally, I have seen due obedience and discipline helps in reducing the aggressive behavior of aggressive animals and possession. However, I believe that human aggression is something that should not be messed with, and that any human aggressive dog should be destroyed, both to protect the owner, and good dog. Why is it that humans suggest Aggressive dog training? Am I naive? Or not?

Honestly, one of the things I see, is that people are not always aware that their dog is aggressive. Excsuses do for them. "Oh, he just did it because I was tired." or "Only that person just because he was protecting me." etc, etc, etc, etc. As with children, people do not want to see the worst of his dogs. And, often as children, to take in a dog is aggressive it is (in your mind) to admit that as a dog owner. After all, look how many people scream "Not the dog, is how to increase it. That is sometimes true, sometimes not is. In my own mind, and my dogs, human aggression is not tolerated. There are many good dogs there that need homes. I do not see risking everything, including innocent pedestrians, keeping a dog that is a responsibility.
