dog potty training a dog of small breed female?

We have a dog 2 years old Chihuahua mix female and I was wondering if it is too late for the train to go on the news paper inside since we've gone a lot and if so how do I proceed that.She happening on a front porch enclosed with a wooden floor.

It may be too late, but maybe not. Personally, every time she was going the normal place, it will resume in the paper and let him finish there, the reward, saying good girl and stuff like that. Keep trying that do not punish her too harshly though =) If it fails, ask an expert or go to your vet and ask someone there.
