Do you think a 28 month old AmStaff be able to handle 4 possibly 5 hours running rough?

Tomorrow we're going on a long hike with very rugged terrain. We will end up in a lake where we camped for the night. Then it's up another 4 to 5 hours to return to car. Of course, giving us plenty of water, supplies, and we'll take breaks. I'm just worried we'll get halfway camp and I'll have to carry him the rest of the road. It is one of our dogs to catch, and he went hunting several times longer than what we're going hiking tomorrow, but never on this terrain. I should add, I am very active with my dogs, and we have traveled several times but never this rough terrain. So you think I'll wear my AmStaff camp, or do you think it will do so on its own? No worries for his feet. We Grip Trex dog boots that will be during walking. Thank you for reassurance. I feel much better in our journey tomorrow.

It will probably handle is fine, if used increases in the day. However, the terrain can cause sore feet .. So you would be wise to take Boots .. just in case n. You can do boots shift, cotton padding and vet wrap. (Sold in wrist wrap at Wal-Mart or drug)
