Anyone who owns a dog can tell you that making a dog to sit can be one of the easiest commands to teach your old dog or puppy. Others may tell you otherwise. Dogs when young people are naturally active and Rowdy, its their natural instinct to do so. In nature more dominant or "pack leader" would correct certain behaviors if it is unacceptable. Although dogs over hundreds of years have become domesticated, we still like the "leader" pack must teach our dogs how to present when you're not like or if you want a behavior shown our pets. These basic commands are subject seated, Lay, stay, etc. The words may be different depending on what word you choose to use your dog.
Dogs love to please, especially when young. The sit command is really an excellent and effective work. Depending on the race, verbal praise is reward enough for a dog, while others with more hyper active temperaments need little treats to keep their attention during the process. Always make sure the dog is in front of you and watch your face. Dogs learn most commands by looking at both the expression our face and the tone that we order things. It is preferable to use a normal voice when training your dog. Never use sites high because your cause excitement in dogs in general will cause the dog not to be fully engaged in training. Display only reward behavior or land in your high if the dog is rewarded for doing something you ordered never recover its attention with a treat. If your dog does not seem interested after 2 minutes, try again later. Now that the dog is facing you, gently push on his back saying "sit". As your dog moves in a complete sitting position, you may reward him by saying good boy / girl or giving a treat. Do this several times always saying the word "sit". Depending on the personality of your dog, most dogs and puppies even its full development can be disturbed if the training session is too long and unpleasant. Always calm and confident. Your dog will easily stressed when he or she feels that your signal into an authoritative tone impatient.
If your dog does not stay in the sitting position when pressing on the delay, simply try again and again. The dog must respond quickly as the tone of your voice and the word "sit" lodge in your dogs brain. If the dog gets up and do not hold the sitting position, gently say "no" and put pressure on them from behind until he or she is in the sitting position followed a reward. These sessions should not be so long. Keep them short, 5 minutes to about 10 times a day works best, rather long session once a day. Remember to reward your dog. Keep it fun and short. Your dog is literally learning to understand language again to keep things simple by using one syllable commands and practice practice practice!
