How can I keep my dog runs away from home whenever the door is open?

I have a Miniature Pinscher 10 months which is constantly run away from home every time we open the front door. It even goes digging his way under the door into the backyard to escape. I understand Min Pins are extremely curious and caring for dogs free, but it is too. He terrorized the neighborhood dogs that bother me, as its owner. No other dogs in the neighborhood even need fences or leashes ... I am the laughing stock of my street, because I can not keep my dog in check. What should I do?? Primarily, it is a good dog.
