Choke Collars (also called choke collar, slip chain collar slip):
The choke collar is a length of material (nylon, chain) with a circular ring at each end. The chain is slid through one of these rings to form a loop and is slid around the top the dog's neck, just behind the ears. and resting on his neck. When the dog displays an undesirable behavior gentle traction is used to alert the dog he has done something undesirable. it is important to note that improper use of the collar may cause injury and even death of the dog. There are three popular kinds of choke collars: the limited choke collar, choke collar, and snap-around.
Prong Collars (also called pinch collars):
The necklace is made of a series of links of metal chain with open ends flat turned to the dog's neck so that when the collar is tightened, it pinches the loose skin around the neck of a dog creating a sensation of driving on the dog's neck.
Electronic Collars:
Electronic collars are designed to release a shock, odor or treble. Included in these types of passes are the Electronic Shock, Audio, and lemongrass. These electronic collars are mainly controlled by remote control. The shock collar shock sends electronic dog's neck which is strong enough to be uncomfortable for the dog, but not physically harm him, when he displays an undesirable behavior. The strength of the shock can be changed so generally very small for a more extreme sensation. The Citronella collar sprays a smell which is horrible for most dogs. Releases Collar audio sound sharper than humans can not hear ... most dogs can and do not like it.
Martingale Collars:
The martingale collar is similar to the choke collar. The difference is the martingale collar has only one section that will tighten when pulled, where as the choke collar will tighten without fixed limit.
Clickers:
The Clicker is a small plastic box with a metal strip inside makes a clicking "sound when the metal strip is pressed and released. Clicker is a kind of training used in good condition a dog to respond in a and special way to mark a behavior to be rewarded.
Head Halter:
The collar of the head (like a string on a horse) generally consists of two loops. A loop goes behind the ears and the other goes on the dog's nose and they are found below jaw of the dog to help prevent dog extraction and effort. Necklaces control head neck, head and nose and the concept behind is that if you control the head, you control the body. Head collars can be excellent for controlling even the strongest dogs.
No Pull Harness:
Unlike standard collars, which control a dog by binding to the neck or head, non-pull harness, as with any what harness is worn on the body of the dog (most often the shoulder blades) to teach him not to pull or tug, in calm and pleasant. It makes it more difficult for the dog to learn when he is wearing a harness.
