Many people have no idea how to choose a dog breed makes a great addition to the family and toddlers to be or child-safe. By choosing the wrong dog, you not only save your child or baby in danger, you also put the dog's life in danger. Dogs with bad behavior problems are often "lying" to bite people.
So what breeds are most suitable or unsuitable for children? Pomeranians, Yorkshire Terriers, Chow Chows, White Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer and Scottish Terriers all have seen a fair amount of press coverage for biting children. These breeds of dogs are also more difficult to put through obedience training compared to other breeds.
Dog-biting cases tend to occur especially in younger children aged 15 and under, with the highest risk category were boys between 5 and 9 years of age. Pretty funny, girls tend not to get bitten as much. In most of these cases, studies have shown that dogs have been caused before attacking the child,
There are also some cases where a dog attacks a child for no reason, but these situations are less frequent free. In most cases it is due to children playing competitive games or rough with the dog or trying to take things out of the mouths of dogs that causes aggressive behavior.
More children under the dominance they have in mind a dog. Size, height, tone of voice and trust at all reflected in it. Most children who received dog bites to the face are generally younger than 4 years. As they grow and higher, the risks are reduced considerably.
It is important that you are able to train the dog you are about to buy or inherit property and still control them. Dogs by nature are pack animals and in each pack, there is an alpha male, or leader. Thanks a good education, you will be able to show the dog you are the leader of the pack and get them to behave accordingly.
Problems arise when the owner does not establish such leadership with your dog. The dog then takes his position as head of the pack (your family), and becomes impossible control. Besides that, if the owner is not considered the leader in dog's eyes, children of the family will be even lower classification the state of the pack. This should not be allowed to happen because when a dog does not see children as having a level of leadership similar to the age adult, it is prone to display higher levels of aggression towards them.
So in conclusion, we have come to understand the nature of dogs and they still carry many traits of their ancestors as wild predators. So, the following are some important points Note. Do not leave your children unattended in the presence of a dog and teach your children to properly handle dogs. Make sure you train correctly or to the school of obedience dog, a dog you bring home.
