Do you have a rare or unusual dog?
I looked in my encyclopedia for dogs and the great variety of breeds dog surprise me! Many of them I had never even heard of let alone seen! Many dogs, I have never heard or had their origin in other countries than the United Kingdom, Germany, America, and France seem to have bred a number of "different" races. Do you have some unusual race? I really like the Lagotto Romagnolo. My sister who lives in Italy and I still ask him to squeeze me next time she comes (I'm sure she can stick one up her sweater and pretend she is pregnant or something in the air! LOL) What specific breeds that you love?
As someone had a dog once remarked to me, there's a reason many breeds are rare, they are difficult to live, or who have coats that are difficult to maintain, or who are prone to many genetic issues due to a gene pool weak. Do your homework before deciding on any race, and this is especially true for rare breeds. I have known people to get a rare breed of dog, and I never seen a real example of life reproduce, and thus was very disappointed.
