Never the breed Australian Shepherd / Husky mixes? Or Aussie / Border Collie? or Aussie / Lab?

I am curious if I can find and buy One of these mixtures or if I am better to wait until I can find one in a local shelter. I really want a solid blue merle dog, and I feel it will take some time waiting for that mutt is perfect for a local shelter. Any info, thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

No reputable breeder. But back yard breeders could, at the right price. I woudln't want to buy a hybrid from a breeder backyard as they do not test health (for genetic problems) and despite the popular belief that mutts are healthier its all about genetics. If you cross two breeds with similar concerns notation, and does not test (genetic) and one of the dogs was something then the puppies would be healthier then a thoroughbred that his parents were genetically healthy and high. I would therefore like to call shelters and to contact you if a combination of one of these dogs were brought in. I also do a search on Petfinder nearby cities to see if they have one. On Petfinder you can search by city / state and race and it will show that race and mixed dogs with this breed. That's just me though. I do not want to get a puppy, fall in love with her and a few years later, I run a few thousand dollars in veterinary bills, then die. I love you Gussing Aussie race?
