The Norwegian Buhund or "Norsk Buhund, is a shepherd of the group of Spitz, and it is the farm dog of Norway. Buhund spitz have characteristics typical activity, self-confidence and independence, but they are trainable and home of love with less taste for hunting that other spitz breeds, having been bred as herding dogs rather than hunters and draft dogs.
