For Dog Only

I want a Siberian Husky or a Husky Shepherd mix, but both are somehow extremely hard to find!

I live in Glendale, Arizona. I our family decided to get another dog and the dogs we are concerned with Husky Husky & Shepherds. I've been searching all day Friday, Saturday, Sun. I find nothing. I have searched private breeders, Books, Animal Shelters, groups Husky Rescue, each site to find company, and too many private sellers. I need help finding Husky in Arizona. Any help would be great. I must remind everyone who does not live here it's not 120 degrees every day. Hot & uncomfortable but not uninhabitable. I have owned dogs here before. It would be a dog at home and welcome to the pool at any time.

I have owned several Siberian Husky. There are hunting dogs, if they stand you are going to hunt, they like to run. They Dont handle the heat better and it is difficult to train, they do sit, come, roll over anything. They tend to be of good character, however. They are family protection. Being in AZ heat is very hard for them and they take more care than most breeds. A mixture with a shepherd could be better. Just be ready for an important commitment because there is a reason why you are having trouble finding one in AZ.
