I think from a small dog boutique business, but I need help!?
I already have a plan also beyond what I want to wear, style, feel, and location of the place. I wonder first, how can I get funding for such adventure (I'll be renting the building) and, secondly, how can I find items to sell? In other words, if I find items that are local or difficult to find in other places? I have no idea how to find the products I sell!
Firstly, assume that there is no funding available for your business. Because in this time of "fiscal madness," Credit is really tight. You will likely have to fund start-up costs from your own heritage. Products manufactured locally can be found at fairs local small business and Expo. Contact your Chamber of Commerce for names of members who require retailers. For more information and assistance go farther: www.SCORE.org.
