What is the fabric over the eyes of a hunting dog is?
When my basset hound eyes closed, some kind of fabric going over his eyes. I guess has something to do with the Bassets hunting in the woods. So what exactly is it? What to do? And how can we help? Thank you.
This is called the "Haw" or "third eyelid". All dogs have them, but are especially important in Bassets.
