Formal Victorian style is not at all the right approach for a house for me with large dogs and cats home, but my casual style works well simplified. My friend on the other would never live in a home with all tile floor, it's just not sophisticated enough for her. "I need carpets and curtains fantasy," she said.

I would look stupid super-low cut jeans, but my 22 year-old niece would not welcome Tailors I wear often.

My message is simple - Happiness is in this sacred place where you create the diversity that makes your life yours. Happiness is where self-acceptance and self-improvement to meet. And not only your decorating style, or your choice of jeans - but your ideals, your passions, what makes you smile.

In To the joy of living with you, your life must consider what makes sense for you. What you like, what you hold dear, that you love what you find interesting and important.

When I first moved to Arizona there are over 15 years now, I worked with my husband yards running for a large construction company. I wanted to do something else when we made the trip, but he politely asked me to continue, and I accepted. It was, after all, what we did successfully throughout. Who was I to rock the boat?

I continued to work for 2 years and I have not a decent job, but I was also very stressed, and added stress because I was not satisfied with my choice. I went to work just in time, I took every second of my lunch hour, I left as soon as I could get away with. There were many indications that my heart was not there.

After 2 years, I was able to return to school and start my business Coaching. In the early years, I could easily put in 60 hours per week, and never tired bored, wishing to stop smoking. Years later, I still do not get tired. Ok, this is not true, but I do not understand not sick and tired-can't-make-me if you know what I mean.

I would not do it like a rock star. I could never be a leader, or surgeon. But what I love. I found happiness in the variety of life in the niche that suits me. You can too!

But even with the beauty of diversity, there are of course some basics. Like the decor, style and fashion, live a good life requires knowledge some basic skills and putting a few pieces of foundation.

Hence, it becomes a creative work that reflects your own personality, your interests, your own message to the world.

Start with the basics: 1. Spread the things that are important to you. 2. Put your efforts the right places. 3. Clearly define your priorities. 4. Stockpile in your life. 5. Identify and eliminate energy zappers currently browsing. 6. Manage your thoughts. 7. Eliminate overwhelm through everyday action.

Every day that you work hard to be optimistic and strengthening things that are useful and important to you, there is less room for sadness or self pity. Start today.
